Fleur De l'Amour Bridal Collection
Fleur de l'Amour is a Study in Texture and Romance by Madeleine DeMotte: Discover the artistry of Madeleine DeMotte's Fleur de l'Amour bridal collection, crafted in Dallas, Texas. This collection is a celebration of texture and light, where moody romance is brought to life through an exquisite blend of fabrics. Experience the luxurious feel of lace, the airy volume of silk dupioni, and the soft drape of satin charmeuse, layered and combined to create gowns that are as unique as they are beautiful. Fleur de l'Amour offers a truly distinct bridal experience for the bride seeking a gown that embodies both romance and sophisticated detail.

AI Resortwear Project
The purpose of this project was to gain familiarity with applying Artificial Intelligence tools into the fashion design workplace, especially regarding the stage of inspiration and design. Working with programs including Midjourney, Tripo, Vizcom, and Chat GPT, we endeavored to create a line of garments from which we would choose one to fully realize. Starting from AI, we then further developed our sketches through Adobe Illustrator into fully realized garment flats, then patterned/draped one final garment. The final dress I created included a corset style top with boning, 3 tiers of skirts with the bottom layer including a side slit, as well as a waistband and arm straps.

CLO 3D Project: Moments in Time
Moments In Time by Madeleine DeMotte is a collection that celebrates simplicity and beauty in small details. Utilizing a minimal color palette, the collection emphasizes silhouette through careful shifts in opacity between sheer and opaque layers, adding depth to each piece. Sustainability is a key value to Figs and Fortune as a part of our initiative to slow the fashion cycle
and bring value back to the individual garment, especially as we reflect upon moments in time. This collection then reflects these values in the use of natural and sustainable fibers, including a cotton/linen blend Cottonworks Twill Pin Stripe Cotton/Linen) and the absence of synthetic dyes. Inspiration for the collection draws from the movement and texture of linen, limestone, and the
shadows cast by natural foliage. Additionally, design elements are influenced by Korean and Japanese silhouettes, featuring higher necklines, ties and buttons instead of zippers, and layered structures that promote a sense of simplicity through modesty.

Rub Off Project
The purpose of this project was to become familiar with the practice and techniques of Rubbing Off a garment. I chose a blouse from my closet ensuring it had various elements of which I would have to replicate, and then I proceeded to use techniques including rubbing off, measuring and drawing out, or tracing the garment. I also sought to replicate the fabric as closely as possible, only changing the color from black/white to green.

Quilted Jacket
This cropped, boxy, jacket features princess seams and engaging quilt motifs that enhance its visual appeal while maintaining a relaxed aesthetic. The jacket is adorned with four oversized gold buttons and incorporates practical applied pockets for everyday utility. The lapel collar completes this versatile design, making it a fun choice for a variety of outings with practicality in mind.
